HYPERPYRON is a team of creators focused on educational videos and documentaries, but also on promotional and business videos, company and various advertising videos.
We have collaborated with ERT SA, Educational Television, local municipalities and authorities, cultural organizations, private clubs and companies.
Our productions focus mainly on cultural and historical documentaries; we also offer a variety of relative services such as direction services, production organization and general television services.
We have a comprehensive editing and post production suite and we offer digitization services, technical editing, DVD and CD copying, recording, narration and additional TV services; we also have the ability of multi camera takes.
Throughout our working years we have collected and amassed a substantial audiovisual archive which is available to our clients on demand.
Another special part of our activities comprises video recordings, conference recordings, cultural events, public presentations and social events.

Leonidas studied electronics at the Technical University of Piraeus and entered the television industry in 1989, working many years as an editor.
Since 2000 he has also been working as a director, collaborating with Educational Television, ERT SA, the Greek Parliament Channel and local authorities such as municipalities, prefectures, cultural organizations, private clubs and companies.
Leonidas focused mainly on documentaries, educational and instructive videos; his documentaries have repeatedly taken part at the KINEON International Festival for Archaeological Film in Brussels.
Peloponnese Guards.
An educational film for the Peloponnese history through its castles, produced on behalf of the Educational Television. The film was the Greek participation at the 2001 KINEON International Festival for Archaeological Film in Brussels.
Themistoclean Walls.
An educational film for the Athens ancient history, provided through the ancient strongholds of Athens as well as the Athens Themistoclean walls. The film was produced on behalf of the Educational Television having been the Greek participation at the 2003 KINEON International Festival for Archaeological Film in Brussels.
Spartathlon, the ultramarathon race.
The film describes the international and historical ultramarathon race Spartathlon, from Athens to Sparta, totaling almost 246 kilometers. The race takes place every year in Greece.
The film broadcasted at the Greek Parliament TV channel and was selected by the Physical Education Office as the 2004 Olympic education course at schools of the Laconia prefecture.
Mani, the Angel Frontiersmen (2005).
A documentary for the Mani location in the byzantine years, its churches and the people’s special religious habits and beliefs. The film broadcasted at the Greek Parliament TV channel with the Educational Television holding its copyright.
Mani Above (2006).
A historical and geographical journey in the Mani area from the air. The film, in DVD format, was selected as a touristic promotion of Mani by the Laconia Prefecture.
The Antikythera Mechanism (2009).
An educational documentary produced for the Educational Television, regarding the ancient Greek technology and the Antikythera shipwreck.
The Eupalinian aqueduct (2009)
An educational documentary produced for the Educational Television, regarding the ancient Greek technology and the ancient tunnel created by engineer Eupalinos and his team so as to build an aqueduct and supply the ancient capital of Samos with fresh water.
In the footsteps of a legend (2012).
A film documentary regarding the history of Spartathlon, the ultramarathon race. The film was produced for the Spartathlon International Symposium, celebrating 30 years since the modern revival of the Pheidippides achievement.
Leonidas Drogaris was born on September 1963 in Athens, Greece. Leonidas studied electronics at the Technical University of Piraeus and entered the television industry in 1989, working many years as an editor. His documentaries have repeatedly taken part at the KINEON International Festival for Archaeological Film in Brussels.
I studied film directing at the Film directing school of Eugenia Hatzikou. For many years I worked as a film director at TV ERT1, mainly in the field of documentaries, but also on creation of cultural, educational and entertainment shows. My most important cooperation with HYPERPYRON concerns a series of documentaries that highlighted important Greek places with an emphasis on their history and culture.
